Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist sportscaster producer and actress. She graduated from University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she participated in numerous pro-am tournaments. She received sponsorship from major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she received of these surfing events was like rocket fuel that helped her get into the entertainment industry. In the following years, she was an investigative filmmaker and journalist as well as a sportscaster. Sun has worked as an anchor for a variety of news channels, primarily as anchor. She was an anchor for Fox Sports Net in 2003. Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute from between 2014 and 2015. Sun is the first Asian-American personality to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports as well as Tennis Channel. Sun is a well-known actress who has been featured in a variety of films. She has appeared in many films including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it all by herself.
