Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the music world is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where, along with three schoolmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. He was always interested in music, but also wanted to work as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even a scout. A part-time job in a city bakery in his early opportunity to earn money for the family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. This meant that his group had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band called One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the candidates for the award. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire under a contract with One Direction.
