Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She became the nation's love interest after winning the American Idol title during the first season of the reality show. This win did more than make her a household name, but led to her signing a contract for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings as in addition to 'S Records. The singer has since released numerous Studio albums. Three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She is among the most well-known artists that made it through American Idol. When she was successful, she tried different musical styles and themes often creating songs of her personal beliefs. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal talent, she has received high praise and numerous accolades. She has been awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. In addition to her musical career, she has also appeared in movies and television shows.
