Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at age six when she took a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman as coach from 2011. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the elite competition level in 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete less than two year later. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant personality as well as the difficulty she encountered across all four events including vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
