Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996. She was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descendance. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family she grew up with was at home in Buenos Aires from the time she was just six before they relocated to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy, this move was traumatic and she decided to not learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the transferred from Northlands. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in various productions. When she was 16 she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true when she received a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
